Here are some of the most frequently asked questions we get about Junk Removal.
How do I get a quote for my project?
In order to get a quote we will schedule a time with you to come and inspect the location. We do this in order to determine ease of access and also see just how much weight we will be removing from the site. We will then create a quote which will have a price range because we charge based on weight and volume. If we are also removing items that are very heavy such as concrete, bricks or dirt we will add and additional charge for the extra manpower and labor needed to handle these items.
Can you guys clean out an entire house?
YES! We do have the ability to come through and clean out an entire house, however this does require several truckloads, bigger the truck the more trash to haul. Even though our trucks have the capacity to handle 3 tons of weight normally when cleaning out houses the volume tends to exceed the weight capacity.
What days can I remove junk?
You can have your junk removed Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. And 6 p.m and between the hours of 7 a.m. And 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. If the job goes past our hours of operation we will make the decision to either continue working to finish up the job or return the following day. The decision on staying or returning is based on the amount of work needing to complete the job as well as the customers deadline.
What are things you dont remove?
We do not remove hazardous waste. Hazardous items include fuels such as gasoline and Diesel, containers under pressure like propane and oxygen, wet paint gallon buckets or paint cans, items that are too massive and heavy to safely lift, items located and very dangerous areas, vehicle fluids such as oils and antifreeze, herbicides and pesticides, bleaches and household cleaners, and any other hazardous materials which made put ourselves at risk as well as batteriessuch as lithium ion car batteries or nickel alloy as well
How do you charge?
As mentioned before we charge by volume, so it all depends on how much space your junk takes up in our truck. Our trucks are 12 ft long by 7 ft wide by 5 feet high so we can accommodate larger items but they will have to be tarped which is an extra charge but not much. As mentioned before we also charge extra labor if there are heavy items that require a lot of Manpower such as concrete, dirt, asphalt etc.
What will you do with my junk?
After your junk is loaded in the truck and ready to leave we will then request payment and take your junk to a donation center first so they can determine what is salvageable and what is not. This is why we do not take any hazardous or toxic material. There are a lot of items which get donated to local charities such as churches, Goodwill and Salvation Army and we also recycle valuable items such as metal, cardboard, bricks and anything else which can be used for another purpose. Drunk removal is not only clearance space but also finding items which could have another life
